Please do not stress over what you or your family should wear! Do not rush to the store to buy everyone a new outfit either. I'm sure you have something that can be styled to your liking already in your closet. Remember these are your photos at the end of the

day and you wear what makes you feel beautiful.

Your photos will last a lifetime and as your personal style may change over time. Your photos should be simple, clean, and classic. Look around your home and decide which color palette will look best printed and hanging on your walls. Upon booking a session you will receive a style guide with color/outfit suggestions. Once you choose a color palette start with styling mom first!

These non-negotiables will help polish your look!

-Iron or steam everyone's clothes!

-Add layers and textures

-Leave uncomfortable and athletic shoes at home

-Indirect matching

-Limit your patterns, small, subtle patterns are best and look best if one or two people are wearing them

-Avoid the whole family wearing the same color

-Complement and accessorize with similar colors

-A little coverup, mascara and blush go a long way!

Your photos should reflect you and your personal style. These tips should be used as a guide and starting point for styling your family for any and all of Virginia's backdrops!
